interdisciplinarity: neurology, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, radiation therapy,
integrated visit: same-day consultation with multiple medical specialists and diagnostic workup, possibility of follow-up by teleconsultation
intervention: invasive and/or non-invasive treatments
interaction: weekly neurovascular board involving all medical specialties
innovation: inclusion in ongoing clinical trials, research promotion
iCRANIUM Patients:
Adult patients, pediatric patients transitioning to adult care
Patients coming from all regions across Quebec
Patients at risk of stroke, or with previous history of stroke, (ischemic or hemorrhagic), headaches, epilepsy, of progressive neurological deficit
Main pathologies treated: arteriovenous malformations, dural arteriovenous fistula, cavernous angioma (cavernoma), familial aneurysms, moyamoya disease and other genetic neurovascular conditions
